What is Microsoft 8.1 upgrade upgrade evaluation 9431 is asking me to upgrade to that if not my computer was shut down every two hours

I'm having problem with my computer for the last three days it has been asking me to upgrade Microsoft Windows 8.1 as it is now my computer shuts down every hour it tells me that evaluation copy bulid9431 license has expired and I need to upgrade what is this? Is this a virus?
