My question is the following:
I want to create a custom image for Windows 8.1, this is just the IT pro in me, but I would like to capture this custom image using UEFI. So this will obviously require some steps. The eventuality is that I would like to deploy this said captured custom image via WDS on SCCM that we have a WDS distro group. However, the way I create images is inject the drivers into the install.wim prior to installing Windows so that I don't have missing drivers. In writing this I think I am doing this wrong with the drivers, that they should just be injected in via system center and that it will deploy the drivers for me. This was a side note so someone correct me. The challenges I face are when I customize the install.wim in anyway and plug the it into the ISO files and try to burn it off to the FAT32 partition, I get an error that there is not enough space for the file to be copied for the install.wim. Mind you this install.wim file was in an NTFS environment and then attempted to being copied over to a FAT32 environment. The size of the file is way under the 20GB cap I partitioned the drive for along with the other files. So what I am looking for here, is anyone who is going or has gone through the same experience. Custom enterprise images for Windows 8.1 trying to use UEFI, get IPv4 to Secure Boot to SCCM / WDS and capture and deploy said image using WDS. Also driver injection yay or nay to do it to the install.wim or can/let SCCM do it for WDS?
