Can anyone point me in the direction of the TechNet pages which outline the supported configurations for roaming user profiles and user data in Windows 8 Enterprise?
I just want to share the currently implemented roaming configuration for interests sakes:
- Redirected Folders - Desktop / Documents / AppData (Roaming) / Favourites / Start Menu / Contacts / Links
- User Environment Virtualisation SP1 - Themes / Ease of Access / Desktop
- Local Profile (We're removed some bloat from the default user profile. Most notability the application packages / active Setup)
What's not roaming after implementing this configuration:
- Windows 8 Tiles (Metro Screen). I can see the users tiles under %APPDATALOCAL%\Microsoft\Windows\appsFolder.itemdata-ms. So surprising there is no way to move the expected path to %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows which is part of the normal redirected folders configuration.
