Cannot mouse over upper left hand corner on dual monitors

Hello there

So after installing and tweaking windows 8, some small annoyances remain. One of them that i encounter every day is as follows:

I have 2 monitors. Primary on the right, secondary on the left.

If i take my cursor up to the top left of the primary monitor, it gets "stuck" and will not move over to the left hand screen (secondary monitor). I believe this is caused by the APP bar which I have disabled as per (http://www.ghacks.net/2012/08/19/disable-windows-8-mouse-over-corner-interfaces/). However the problem still remains. If i go aproximately 10 pixels down from the upper left hand corner, i can mouse over to the other screen fine. No menu comes up, my cursor just hits a wall. I have made sure both montior tops are in line in the screen resolution screen.

I tried to shoot a video of it, but of course camstudio does not work in windows 8 (sigh).

steps to reproduce are, drag your mouse to the very top left corner with the intention of moving it to the second monitor.

How can i disable? I have tried the GPO setting for EdgeUI which creates the registry key ( DisableTLcorner) in the link above.

As a bit of background, if one is constantly using VNC to manage other peoples computers, I do not want to steal focus from their mouse by dragging my cursor over the centre of the screen. So i bring my mouse cursor to the very top (title bar area) and try and move between screens. Obviously this is a windows 8 "feature". Anyone else annoyed by this? is there some fix?

thanks
