We have a GPO which turns off UAC, i.e., the slider al the way down to never notify. In Windows 8.1, we want sdome of the Modern UI love so what group policy settings should we use to that UAC slider all the way up, i.e., to - always notify?
Here are the ones I think we pertinent to this objective:
Computer Configuration\Policies\Windows Settings\Security settings\Local Policies Security Options\ User Account Control
User Account Control: Allow UIAccess applications to prompt for elevation without using the secure desktop
User Account Control: Behavior of the elevation prompt for administrators in Admin Approval Mode
User Account Control: Behavior of the elevation prompt for standard users
User Account Control: Detect application installations and prompt for elevation
User Account Control: Only elevate executables that are signed and validated
User Account Control: Only elevate UIAccess applications that are installed in secure locations
User Account Control: Run all administrators in Admin Approval Mode
User Account Control: Switch to the secure desktop when prompting for elevation
Thanks in advance for all the help!
