I recently purchased a workstation with Windows 8.1 Pro and software assuance. I have the computer built up and have been using it for a month or two now, working fine. I was just looking over my licensing in the Volume Licensing Service Center and noticed an entry for Windows 8.1 Enterprise with an unresolved quantity of 2.
I'm thinking I paid for it so I may as well use it, right? Plus I'm curious about Windows To Go. But my question is, can I upgrade my Pro machine to the Enterprise version without having to re-install all my applications? I'd hate to have to reinstall all my applications.
I did find an article online on how to do this but it called for running an application, Windows Anytime Upgrade, but I can't find it on my system. Any other thoughts or where can I find this utility?
