hay, microsofty,
my windows update is stucked in infinite loop.
windows update installed an update which download size was 800mb on my computer, after what it promped me to restart computer.
i did allowed it to restart, and after logging off, windows update continued with second stage, and successfully reached 100%.
then it restarted my computer. after a restart, it continues with third stage, but after some time, it displays me a message thet they could not install updates, and that it is undoing changes. after displaying this message for some time, it restarts computer.
after a restart, the exact same thing, and after a 10 minuts, it restarts again.
this exact same thing keeps repeating undefinatley.
windows update does not give me any chance to abort installation.
it just keeps trying to install that update but fails every time.
so what is the cause of this?
can this be caused by a low disk space?
before selecting to install this update i had 3.5 gb of free space, and now i have only 10 mb free.
under low space condition sixth generation of windows can act strange
for example, windows server 2008, if it has less then 400 mb of free disk space before booting, keeps restarting, after it pass boot screen. i had this problem, and solved it by deleting about 100mb of unused files from disk.
can this be a cause for this too?
