Okay, so another new optional Windows update has just come out: KB2975719
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2975719
Trying to make sense of the Known issues with this update section in the above link, it appears Microsoft is advising toUNinstall all the following...
- KB2982791
- KB2970228
- KB2975719
- KB2975331
...then install KB2975719, which I guess replaces just the first one listed above?
Did I read that right?
Is it an implication that there will be more to come, to replace the others above that are to be uninstalled?
What's the implication of this being an Optional update? "Use at your own risk?" "We don't recommend it?"
Thing is, my system is fully up to date and (so far) perfectly stable now. Should I:
- Uninstall those recommended for uninstallation?
- Install this new one?
- None of the above?
I admit, I only have a mere bachelor's degree in engineering. Figuring out what we're actually supposed to do with these updates to maintain a stable Windows setup seems to be beyond my knowledge level.
