I have an HP Pro 3500 MT running Windows 8 64bit. I have a second hard drive I need to run with Windows7 32bit
to continue site testing as needed for various hardware types.
If I install windows 7 64bit on the second drive windows 8 will recognize it and allow a dual boot partitioning.
If I install windows 7 32bit and load all drivers as needed, I still cannot get windows 8 to recognize the boot partition.
I performed "bootrec.exe /scanos" at the command prompt and windows 8 responds with "Total identified installations: 0
If I try and install windows 7 32bit with windows 8 running I recieve "error: windload.exe status:0x0000000f". I'm
assuming this is due to incompatability. Any advice or assistance to get me going is greatly appreciated.
