I have created a WinPE 4.0 image so that it boots from a HDD. I am able to take an image of the WinPE disk via Clonezilla and then even restore it to other machines using Clonezilla.
After restoring the machines, the machines boot up from the HDD into WinPE. I am able to mount network share and when I execute a Windows 8 setup.exe along-with an unattend.xml file, the windows 8 setup.exe gives me the following error and then quits.
Windows cannot find the Microsoft Software License Terms. Make sure the installation sources are valid and restart the installation.The installation sources are 100% valid. Another interesting observation is when WinPE is running from memory (RAMDisk) then using the above steps Windows installs fine.
I need to install Windows 8 onto the other partition on my hard drive. Any clue?
