I have a Surface Pro 2 512GB and a Surface Pro 3 512GB. I would like to setup a Windows To Go USB drive that can be booted on either of them. Is this possible or will Windows ask me to active each time I switch machines?
I need to setup a development environment for Windows Store apps:
Windows 8.1
Visual Studio 2013
Office 2013
I will be using Aegis Padlock - USB 3.0 2TB drives (which are supposed to be bootable -- haven't recieved them yet).
Is it possible to make the drive bootable on other than Surface Pros? The USB drives are big enough to contain every HAL known to man and some more not known to man.
