I finally let my computer update from Windows 8 to 8.1; I plugged it in, hit ok, and it started, then turned off. When I was able to turn it back on, I got an error message saying that the PC needs to be repaired, error code: 0xc000000d. Well I have a
Toshiba Satellite that did not come with a recovery CD. I called Toshiba and they want $200. Is there ANYTHING else I can do to get my PC back?
