Upgrade Win8 Ent to Win 8.1 x64 via Network

Before I begin, I know this is not the best case scenario. But I need to know if this is workable.

I wonder if anyone knows of a way for me to upgrade Windows 8 Enterprise x64 to Windows 8.1 x64 via a Network Share using DirectAccess.

I have tried running the following using a .cmd: \\server\Windows8.1\Setup.exe /auto:upgrade

But this just seems to drop out after it processes 100%.

Is there a way I may be able to automate this upgrade in this scenario with no User interation?
