In Windows 8.1 Update 1 (Audit Mode), I get a 1 minute delay on any startup scripts as long as there are entries in [HKLM]\\Run.
We start off using a thin image and then we deploy all of our PC's into Audit mode to add a lot of customizations.
The 1 minute delay has a big impact, as we are restarting the system several times using a startup script.
I have sort of solved it by exporting everything under [HKLM]\\Run and then deleting it. After the last restart everything is imported back again. This is not ideal, but it works.
But now in Windows 10 (9879), I can't seem to eliminate the 1 minute delay. I have disabled everything under the Startup tab in Task Manager. I have tried with vanilla installations, and disabled the OneDrive program, as this is the only startup program per default. But nothing works.
Why is this 1 minute delay in place in Audit Mode in the first place? And how do I get rid of it?
Best regards.
