My friend's Windows 8 system will not boot:
File: \BOOT\BCD
error code: 0xc0000034
The system tells me to perform a repair and various KB articles describe how to do this.
However when I boot up from the installation media and enter the repair option, as the disks are in RAID, they are not seen without a driver so none of the repair options work. I have the startup drivers available but the F6 option from previous versions of windows is no longer available.
How can I perform a repair on a Windows 8 installation on a RAID if I cannot load any RAID drivers?
