We recently purchased 6 new Dell Windows 8 desktop computers to add to our SBS 2008 network. The installation seemed to go well but I've been having a problem using Remote Web Workplace to connect to these new desktops from other machines - both inside and outside the network - that are running XP or Windows 7. I cannot even use Terminal Services to connect to these Win 8 clients from the SBS Console. In all other respects, the new client computers seem to work like the other (XP) computers on our network.
I've noticed that while the new computers are listed as being online in the SBS Console under Client computers, it (the Console) is unable to "query the information" for them. Could these things be related?
The Dell desktops have McAfee installed on them and I'm wondering if there is an issue related to firewall settings or permissions or something like that? Any help would be appreciated.
