- 6 month old Lenovo Twist laptop, $1400.00 variety, bosses wife.
- Hard drive crashed, received replacement and Lenovo installation disks.
- Followed directions, replaced hard drive and reinstalled OS
- Now get Activate Windows screen but have no key.
- I have been messing with Lenovo for a week trying to get the key. They transferred me to Microsoft twice and they say go away it's Lenovo responsibility.
- While Lenovo and Microsoft are pointing administrative fingers at one another I'm dead in the water. I'm an old CIO and try to instill in the geeks that work under me a git-r-done style, If you need to get a system up and violate protocol to do so just do it - and blame it on me. I don't see that style here.
