I have an Inspiron 1750 with a 1080p (1900 x1020) display and I can't install 8.1 because I get a blue screen that does not contain any pertinent information for the fail. I have another Inspiron 1750 with a 900p display and 8.1 installs on it; but I can't
leave the update because the HDD are interchangeable for back up reason. When I take the HDD out of the 900p and install it in the 1080p I get the blue screen. Other than the displays, the two PCs are identical - every piece of the hardware - wifi, keyboard,
etc....
Foxnews had a banner saying that there was another update (maybe a service pack) coming out, is this going to solve the problem with 8.1? I think that 25% of the PCs have a driver problem with 8.1; it is all over the internet.
