We are running a WDS server on Server 2008R2 that I just recently uploaded a Windows 8 64bit image to. When I try to deploy the image to the same computer, after Expanding Windows files and going to Installing features, I get a "Windows Installation encountered an unexpected error. Verify that the installation sources are accessible, and restart the installation. Error Code: 0xC0000005."
We have been deploying Windows 7 64bit Ent successfully from the same WDS server. The laptop was a clean install of Windows 8 with our standard office applications installed and was running just fine on the laptop. I did the generalize option on the OOBE sysprep and did a capture to the local hard drive which was then copied to the WDS server.
Any help is appreciated.
