Windows 8 Recovery partition

I have an Asus X55A laptop with Windows 8 on it that I use as a home computer and also a lab rat for resolving system problems that I input from repair labs. I follow on the forums, you know, that old adage of "Experience is the best teacher" thing. Anyway, I must have mixed Jack Daniels and a Registry problem together a week or so ago and manage to first move the efi partition and the recovery partition that WAS on the c: drive of my laptop, and save them to a Seagate Freeagent USB External HD. I also went back and deleted the Partitions for each off the PC. I'm assuming this is what caused the secondary issues which are as follows: The  OS system stills boots and runs, but when I run the cmd-line task sfc/scannow it continually fails at 66%, showing this error message: "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files, but was unable to fix some of them. Details are included in the CBS log windir\logs\CBS.log Note that the logging is currently not supported in offline servicing scenarios". Also, my dog ate my System Recovey Boot Disk so I have no media to use for a System Refresh or System Reset, and System Restore fails to restore my PC to any Restore Point. Now the question is: How the *%#@^^ do I fix this?
