Every time i try to install windows 7 64 bit version (ultimate or professional or any copy ) installation goes smooth until finish when it reach's the step "completing installation " , it takes a bit long time and then a message shows up telling that windows couldn't configure one or more components ...
(windows 7 32 bit version installs just fine)
(my PC is 64x capable , and i have recently installed windows 8 64 bit , but i want to get back to windows 7. seriously! )
my specs are : CPU : i3 2.9 ghz / GPU : Nvidia Gforce 9800 gtx 1 gb / HDD : 320 gb with 100 gb free for windows / 8 gb RAM DDR3 (kingston)
i have tried my CD on another computer and it worked fine , and tried more than one DVD , i tried to install from USB flash but the same thing always happens .
could it have anything to do with HDD (partitions or anything) ?
please help ... i seriously NEED to get back to windows 7 64 bit (i need my full RAM)
