autoadminlogon is set to 0 when rebooting...

Hi

I got 200 W8 tablets to "personalize" so I decided to write a script to add remotly registry keys, tiles and so on.

my Tablets are part of my network/ad... I'm am admin of all tablets

During the script I'm writing remotly all the necessary keys to activate the AutoAdminLogon. (checked on the remote computer and it is ok)

(AutoAdminLogon set to 1, user, password and domain defined, ForceAutoLogon set to 1).

The trouble is that when rebooting the tablet it never automatically log on. Then I checked the AutoAdminLogon key and discover that it was set up back to 0 and also that the Defaultpassword key was removed (probably at the logoff).

I then checked the policies : none is applied at the logoff or shutdown, also no script is run

I disabled some services like windows Update (I read in this forum that it could be a bug related to Updates), Shedule, office update...

but without any change in this behavior

I tried also the Autologon from SysInternal but doesn't work either.

Any help would be appreciate.

the purpose of the script is to remotly set the autoadminlogon in order to remotly reboot the tablet, then the tablet log on with the end user credentials (set in the registry) and start the "personalization" using Activesetup like I've done plenty of time on my Xp workstation

thanks a lot
