Hello!
I'm running an autotest application that involves sysprepping Windows. What I've noticed (specifically on Windows 8) is that after sysprep is done and the machine finally boots up, none of the applications registered in HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
are
started. This is crucial to me because the autotests are supposed to resume after sysprep and continue doing whatever it is they were doing.
It all works fine in Windows 7, but not in Windows 8.
If I manually reboot the machine again, everything starts the way it's supposed to, but I need it to work automatically, so that's not really an option.
P.S. All the programs registered for startup do show up in task manager's "Startup" tab and all are set to "Enabled"
