Does anyone have an idiots guide to deploying bitlocker on my system drive with Windows 8 Pro and no TPM. I have Yubikeys II and Yubikey VIP which id like to use as my second factor authorization.

IDoes anyone have an idiots guide to deploying bitlocker on my system drive with Windows 8 Pro and no TPM. I have Yubikeys II and Yubikey VIP which id like to use as my second factor authorization. I figured Microsoft would at least make bitlocker useable for intermediate computer savvy users. Im no IT pro and im basically required to create my own 300 rule group policy to get Bitlocker to even start the wizard without throwiing up a new error message of what I need to change in group policy . I dont have a TPM, I dont have a smart card. I invested in the Yubikeys as a strong affordable alternative yet I cant even get the bitlocker wizard to start. I really want to be able to access this new ellipticalo encryption with one private key shared between two mutually trusting communicators and is impervious to big brother's PRISM reading my private emails. Im bothered that there is a very good chance some guy at an NSA computer terminal is reading some dirty emails or texts betwen my fiance and i or remotely turning my microphone on or camera. This is America people! I feel like this country is going to bnecome Egypt if god forbid one of these tea party nuts gets elected president.
