Hi everyone:
We're performing a Surface Pro 2 pilot using the standard Surface Pro docking station and Windows 8.1. We have a number of docking stations and work in a static IP address environment. I've noticed that when I move a Surface device between more than one docking station, and apply static IP addresses, eventually I get a message that says that I'm applying the same IP address to more than one adaptor. Soon after I see that message, I lose the ability to make changes to the Ethernet adaptor, and the network performance becomes unreliable. I may have network access, or I may not.
Any ideas are appreciated.
