Hi
I find a strange behavior with my Windows 8 machine: I defined a proxy to be used via netsh and in the users (via GPO, Internet Explorer-settings), but still some parts of Windows try to connect directly.
This can be seen, because there are many blocked connection attempts on my firewall shown to a number of servers in the internet (with nslookup, some show up as Akamai-server, some cannot be resolved).
It is a problem for me, as if an application wants to install a feature (AutoCAD wants to have .NET Framework 3.5 for example), it gets blocked. If it would go through the proxy - and that's what I want - it would work :-(
Have I overseen something? Or is there an additional place where a proxy can/must be defined?
Thank you very much for any ideas.
Kind Regards
David
