My development configuration is to boot up between windows 7x32 and windows 8x64 I have a common WD Red HD in a USB 3.0 toaster attached to external port. When I boot up in Win 8 it often flags my external HD as corrupt and I have to run chkdsk and often lose most files :( with multiple win7 boots no issues all drives formated as NTSF.
Why is Windows 8 giving me such grief?
Thanks,
